Experienced Lowboy Truck Driver

Lowboy driver looking to work in the construction industry. This is a full-time job; we offer health insurance, retirement matching funds program, and competitive salaries.
Must have a clean driving record with at least 3-years’ experience. Double’s endorsement a plus but not required. Out of town travel is sometimes required. Must be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.

Job duties include but not limited to loading a single piece or multiple piece load onto a step deck, flatbed, or lowboy. Tie-down load, safely haul a load, assist in unloading, stay on job site and help perform construction activities as needed. This position requires knowledge and understanding of operating up to 11-axle loads that are often overweight and over-dimensional. Must be able to lift up to 75-lbs on a regular basis throughout the day.

Proficient in safely loading, hauling, and unloading equipment as directed.
Must have and maintain all DOT requirements for CDL drivers and driving.
Able to perform pre-trip inspection and make mechanical adjustments as necessary to haul the loads.
Proper lashing down of loads for transportation.
Know and follow applicable laws for City, County, State and Federal roads that will be traveled for specific loads and directed by your supervisor.
Operates tools and equipment to perform support tasks.
Assists where assigned.
Provides manual labor as needed specific to the task including using a shovel, pack blocking, rigging, and/or tools around the job site.
Drive forklifts on job sites and drive CDL company vehicles as directed.
Keep records of loads hauled so that they can be loaded properly multiple times.

Skills In:
Loading a trailer to optimize the legal axle requirements.
Knowledge in lashing down single or multiple piece loads for safe transportation.
Maintaining trucks and trailers as needed for safe operation.
Driving equipment in a manner that does not cause un-peccary wear and tear on the equipment.
Transporting over-dimensional loads, and heavy loads.

Full-time Crane Mechanic

Responsible for performing PM and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical systems (including troubleshooting onboard computer systems), hydraulic systems (booms, outriggers, pumps), brakes and other basic components
Must have the ability to work on hydraulic and conventional cranes, forklifts, tractor trailers and miscellaneous equipment
Must work well and communicate effectively with operators and other mechanics
Minimum of 3- years-experience in crane maintenance
Mechanical aptitude
Experience in crane operations
Must work safely in a fast-paced environment – many times under pressure
Experience in diesel, gasoline and propane engines
Proven ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical boards and crane computer systems
Pass drug test, fit for duty and a clean background check
